Refund Policy

1. Overview

At DigiAucta, we strive to ensure a fair and secure marketplace for all our buyers and sellers. Due to the digital nature of the assets sold on our platform (such as AI Models, Micro SaaS, datasets, and APIs), our refund policy is designed to protect both parties while adhering to global e-commerce standards.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund under the following circumstances:

  • Item Not As Described: The digital asset significantly differs from the seller's description, provided demo, or screenshots.
  • Defective or Broken: The downloaded file is corrupt, the source code does not compile as advertised, or the AI model fails to function as documented.
  • Non-Delivery: You paid for the item, but the secure download link or transfer mechanism failed and the seller did not provide the asset within the promised timeframe.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following scenarios:

  • Change of Mind: You simply changed your mind after purchasing and downloading the asset.
  • Lack of Expertise: You lack the technical skills (e.g., programming knowledge) required to use the purchased source code, dataset, or AI model, provided it functions correctly.
  • Accidental Purchase: You purchased the item by mistake but have already accessed/downloaded the digital files.
  • Expired Inspection Period: You failed to raise a dispute within the designated Inspection Period (typically 3 to 7 days) after the purchase.

4. The Dispute and Refund Process

To request a refund, you must follow our standard dispute resolution process:

  1. Navigate to your Dashboard and locate the specific transaction in your History.
  2. Click on the Raise Dispute button before the Inspection Period expires.
  3. Provide detailed evidence (screenshots, error logs, or descriptions) showing why the asset is defective or misrepresented.
  4. Our Admin team will review the dispute, communicate with the seller if necessary, and make a final, binding decision.
  5. If the dispute is ruled in your favor, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
